Sitem Startup Club (SSC)
The Sitem StartUp Club (SSC) was founded in March 2020, when the leaders of the Insel Group, the University of Bern, and sitem-insel, along with representatives from the Bernese government, be-advanced, and the Swiss Foundation for Entrepreneurship, agreed that the Insel campus in Bern should also provide a hub for startups in the fields of medical technologies (MedTech) and health sciences.
The Sitem StartUp Club (SSC) is a platform designed to support and promote emerging companies in the MedTech and life sciences sectors. It provides a network and resources for early-stage companies developing innovative medical technologies, healthcare solutions and life science-related innovations.
SSC initiatives can include offering mentoring, funding opportunities, networking events and advice to help these startups overcome the challenges associated with their growth, development and commercialization. Through these efforts, the club aims to foster collaboration, innovation and entrepreneurship within the MedTech ecosystem, stimulating progress in healthcare and life sciences.
